Mission Statement 

As time passes it is worthy to note that we live in a period of our Earths' evolution, that requires us all to commit to the preservation of our living environment for the future generations of all species.   As our world became industrialized in the last century, and development reached all corners of the world, a global industrial economy was born. The foundation and expansion of global industrialization has affected the health of our planet today by fostering a life style of disposability.  Pollution from industrialization, over development of communities, a rapidly increasing global population, the burning of fossil fuels for power and electricity, has increased to astronomical levels, affecting the quality of the air that we breathe and the water that we consume.  Our atmosphere has become heavily laden with pollutants and carbon, which in turn are driving Climate Change and Global Warming. The resulting scenario is  weather anomalies of catastrophic  proportions,  massive floods, severe droughts,  global temperature increase, and a planet that is losing its ability to support the life forms that inhabit it.

In the United States alone,  residential and commercial buildings use almost 40% of the worlds energy.  The majority of our electrical energy is produced from burning coal. Oil,natural gas, and propane produce our heat, while refined gas primarily powers our vehicles.  2% of our energy comes from renewable technologies, solar,  wind and hydro. The building sector of our country is an area where we can affect the reduction of fossil fuel usage.  By designing, building, and maintaining high performance buildings and residences we can drastically reduce our addiction to fossil fuels and positively affect the health of the atmosphere and our planet.  Creating bold markets for the usage of Renewable Technologies in industrial expansion, commercial building design,  and residential building design will drastically reduce our global carbon emissions and positively affect Climate Change.  The ultimate result being a healthier planet, living environment and future for all species. 

We pledge to commit ourselves to the preservation of the health of our planet, through energy efficient residential building design and construction, the usage of renewable technologies, and the promotion and support of  sustainable living.
